Meet the
Chaitanya Rao
With a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Caltech and Bachelors Degrees with Honours in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Melbourne University, Dr Chaitanya Rao went on to work in industry with ANZ Bank, NEC, IBM and Telstra. His roles have included Analytics, Data Science and Systems Engineering and he brings a wealth of industry insight and experience to the program.
Michael Choeng
Michael has over 10 years of cyber security experience over many different domains of Cyber Security specialising in Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, meeting regulatory and compliance obligations, defence and response tactics, Cyber Transformation programs, Cyber Security strategies and Operation Technology security. Currently Michael works in the telecommunication industry and is leading in the delivery and development of the cyber strategy for the organisation. Prior he was a consultant at one of the big 4 firms and consulted across different industries with clients around the world.
Jo Batkin
After earning a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Computer Science and Software Engineering in 2001, Jo embarked on a dynamic career path in software engineering. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, Jo has worked across a variety of sectors, including government agencies, prominent corporations, and small-to-medium businesses.
Jo's expertise shone through in her adeptness at implementing and customising in-house metadata management tools, utilising technologies such as Java, SQL Server, JSP, and XSLT. More recently Jo has focused on web-based technologies, specialising in tailor-made WordPress implementations, leveraging PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to craft bespoke solutions.
Beyond her technical prowess, Jo also possesses a keen understanding of the commercial landscape within data and software engineering. This comprehensive perspective equips Jo with a unique insight into navigating the complexities of modern technological landscapes.
