Which cyber security certifications matter and which do not? Do you really need a cyber security certificate to work in the cyber industry? How much do they cost and do you have to keep paying for them every year?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deciding to change careers to the cyber security industry makes sense. Incredible job growth and very lucrative salaries even for entry-level roles, makes it an appealing career opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n

But after you make the no-brainer choice of becoming a cyber security professional, you are immediately bombarded with numerous certification exam tests all telling you that you need their certificate to work in the industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

With so many cyber security certificate products out there, it\u2019s very confusing and many people get hung up on this problem.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Comptia A+. Comptia Security+. CompTIA Network+. CompTIA PenTest+. CompTIA CTT+, we could go on. There are over 10 different certifications provided by CompTIA alone. CompTIA (or the Computing Technology Industry Association) is one of the most well-known IT certification bodies across the globe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
